All about Karen

​As a young child growing up in West London, I was fortunate to have had a stay at-home-mum. As well as taking care of my brother, sister and I, she also found time to cook wholesome meals and baked delicious cakes. My mother’s desserts became legendary and this inspired me to bake and create sweet treats of my own. 

 

After raising my own family and travelling the world, I find myself settled in a beautiful village in a picturesque corner of Dorset known as The Blackmore Vale.

 

My new life has given me time to reminisce about my Mum’s wonderful home baking and how much tastier is was compared to the mass-produced convenience foods we buy at supermarkets and cafes today. 

 

However, with the revolution in coffee-shop-culture and home baking, I have decided to step away from novelty birthday cakes and offer a baking service that provides delicious home baked cakes made from quality local ingedients. 

 

My bakes are designed to be enjoyed anytime not just teatime treats, and with tray-bakes galore I can provide cakes for larger parties and gatherings whatever the occasion.
